CyrusOne, LLC is an enterprise colocation services provider dedicated to safeguarding and increasing the availability and efficiency of mission-critical business applications and data for over 500 customers. In addition, CyrusOne has ten Texas based data centers, including three, 2012 newly opened data centers in San Antonio, Austin, and Carrollton, a 700,000 square foot high density facility. CyrusOne completed phase one of a 1 million square foot facility in Chandler Arizona, outside of Phoenix. As a carrier neutral data center provider CyrusOne requires carriers to build their fiber into CyrusOne’s newly constructed facilities. Global Communication Networks, Inc. was asked to source, negotiate and Project Manage these carrier build-outs for CyrusOne. These projects were complex in scope as they required long distance fiber and conduit builds as well as permitting, boring under major highways, and rail road crossings. In addition to the carrier builds CyrusOne was also in need of a scalable, reliable, protected, cost effective statewide internet exchange for their clients to easily move mission critical data across CyrusOne owned data centers, carrier hotels, and in some cases client offices.
